Everything You Need to Know

Download SkyMate from skymate.tech and complete the 8-step first-run wizard, from a fresh install to a copilot ready to fly.

• Run the installer as Administrator so SkyMate can download its AI models without permission errors — skipping this is the most common cause of setup problems.
• The wizard walks you through your home base (ICAO code), pilot name, and license activation; you can go back to any step and change every choice later in Settings.
• Download the three on-device AI models — the Copilot's Brain (language), Ears (speech recognition), and Voice (text-to-speech). They run locally, so your data stays private and you can fly offline.
• Bind your push-to-talk button and pick a language: English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, or German (the German voice is an optional extra download).
